Here's how a(n) Nas Production Manager for our Nassal
office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Supports the liaison for the creation, tracking, collaboration and execution of all Work Orders between the Fabrication Shop and the Project Teams/Clients.
- Reviews work orders and shop drawings to ensure the necessary information is provided for the commencement of fabrication i.e. cut files, client expectations, sequence for client review and buy-off.
- Sources third party scopes by reviewing and approving relevant subcontract documents and Purchase Order Agreements.
- Leads the updates of the list of deliverables within the Inventory Management software system.
- Assesses the schedule and reviews progress with Fabrication Manager and Fabrication Director to ensure updating/reporting of a resource loaded, logic driven schedule for all Work Orders.
- Organizes, assembles and transmits proposed shop drawing revisions for approval to the project teams via submittal of redlines.
- Facilitates the transmission process of interim and final requests and approvals via a sign-off form to the project teams and foremen.
- Leads the organization and dissemination of closeout documentation at the end of a project, per project specifications.
- Understands and actively manages client expectations and contract.
- Updates the schedule on a weekly basis at a minimum, to track production through completion, identify any new or updated WO’s weekly so they may be vetted for potential scope or cost impacts and processed.
- Demonstrates the ability to Identify potential risks on project scopes and/or the project.
- Builds the sequenced two-week lookahead for all active work orders in their department and liaisons with respective department heads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 4 years of progressive experience in production preferred.
- OSHA 10 Hour certification preferred.
- Experience with cost and change management.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize own work, and direct report tasks
- Proven critical thinking skills.
- Advanced knowledge of fabrication drawings and specifications, project health, safety, and environment (HSE), quality, and required standards as per discipline.
- Advanced knowledge of fabrication equipment and techniques, methods, and building materials.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Fundamental ability to update the project schedule and identify the critical path.
- Effective conflict-resolution skills and professional judgment.
- Demonstrated experience in leading effective project meetings with team members and clients.
- Ability to travel to various project sites and company offices.
