Here's how a HRPD Manager for PCL Construction Enterprises, Inc. within US Head Office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and implementation of strategic plan for talent acquisition and onboarding strategies, ensuring robust pipelines through market insights and industry partnerships.
  • Leads development, execution, and monitoring of district HRPD strategy and key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with district and company strategic plans and priorities.  
  • Responsible for overall accountability, execution and integrity of recruitment and onboarding programs. Utilizes appropriate recruitment sourcing strategies and develops strategic industry contacts to build a candidate pipeline.  
  • Leads local market research and analysis for salary/bonus review cycle.  
  • Responsible for overall compensation plan.  
  • Provides coaching and support to supervisors and senior managers on succession-planning process and resulting plans.  
  • Guides and coaches supervisors through progressive discipline process for all positions, including the development and delivery of performance improvement plans and/or progressive disciplinary strategies on employee relations issues up to and including termination. 
  • Leads complex investigations, including risk assessment, communication/implementation of recommended outcomes/decisions. Consults with key stakeholders and complies with reporting requirements.  
  • Leads implementation, evaluation, and measurement of corporate and regional initiatives.  
  • Involved in litigation and/or mediation for employee relations issues.  

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.  
  • 8+ years of progressive human resources experience with 3+ years supervisory experience managing senior HR professionals.  
  • Seen as a trusted advisor with superior relationship management skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.  
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to delegate and coordinate activities while leading and motivating HRPD leaders.  
  • Able to apply advanced HR knowledge to define best practices and procedures. 
  • Advanced application of relevant employment legislation.  
  • Advanced experience in training, facilitation, and in managing complex facilitated sessions.  
  • Has demonstrated experience executing employment investigations.  
  • Proven ability to lead teams through significant change management initiatives.  

The estimated salary range for this role is $135,000-$170,000, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer. We anticipate this role to be anticipated for a minimum of 5 business days, though it may be opened for a longer period.  We encourage your prompt application.
