Here's how a Social Media Specialist for our US Head Office office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

  • Developing, managing and executing paid social media advertising campaigns; including designing and managing impactful campaigns that achieve our KPIs and provide a substantial ROI to our company recruiting and expansion efforts.
  • Creating content and communications plans consistent with the overall strategy and manage a detailed editorial calendar.
  • Managing company-wide social media channels, including marketing campaigns, for current channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube), and future channels (TikTok, Threads, etc.).
  • Measuring and tracking the success of current campaigns to inform future projects and initiatives.
  • Design, manage, and optimize social media campaigns achieving set KPIs and maximizing ROI.
  • Using data and KPIs to provide strategic recommendations for new objectives or initiatives in relation to digital communication activities.
  • Overseeing creative design (graphics, cover images, etc.) from internal team and district created materials.
  • Providing strategic social media consultation and guidance for executives and other key company decision-makers.
  • Leading audits of social media audiences to determine best content for each platform.
  • Monitoring trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy, and having the ability and confidence to engage with trends in a timely manner on behalf of the brand.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Proficient in utilizing analytical tools to assess the effectiveness of programs, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Rapid adaptation to emerging technologies, showcasing a hunger for continuous learning and mastery.
  • Exceptional ability to cultivate relationships and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in both written and verbal communication, with a knack for problem-solving and solution presentation.
  • Expertise in leveraging various social media platforms and understanding their audience dynamics for strategic deployment.
  • Hands-on experience in managing business social media channels, from ideation to execution of engaging campaigns.
  • Familiarity with social media management and listening platforms such as SproutSocial, Hootsuite, or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree or training in communications, marketing or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven success in executing social media marketing strategies within a fast-paced corporate environment.

Salary for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 depending on experience
