We are seeking a Centralized Relocation Services Student to work for our North American Headquarters (NAHQ) in our South Boulevard Office, located in Edmonton Alberta who is available for 4 months starting May 2026. The Centralized Relocation Services Student will support PCL’s Centralized Relocation Services (CRS) team, gaining hands‑on experience in mobility coordination, immigration support, cross‑border logistics, and HR operations. This position will be under the direct supervision of the Relocation Coordinator.

 

As a Centralized Relocation Services Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

  • Providing administrative and coordination support to the Centralized Relocation Services (CRS) team, including document preparation, tracking, and file maintenance
  • Supporting employee relocations by updating resources, guidelines, FAQs, and reference materials related to moves, taxes, customs, and arrivals/departures
  • Serving as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, directing questions to the appropriate CRS tools, policies, or team members
  • Collecting, organizing, and reviewing relocation expense receipts and reimbursement documentation for completeness
  • Assisting with visa, work permit, and cross‑border immigration processes by preparing files, maintaining trackers, and monitoring status updates
  • Drafting and distributing communications related to immigration and documentation requests
  • Preparing, tracking, and maintaining Business Travel Letters and related logs
  • Updating relocation trackers, dashboards, and reporting metrics to support data accuracy and team performance
  • Assisting with move logistics, including vendor coordination, shipment details, and customs documentation
  • Supporting CRS communications and materials by updating SharePoint/intranet pages and assisting with presentations
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks and workflow support as required
  • Providing administrative coverage support during team absences, ensuring inquiries are addressed or routed appropriately
  • Other duties as required

What you will bring to the role:

  • Enrolled in HR, Business Administration, Communications or related programs.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
