We're also looking at what's next for you and how we can help you build a career you're proud of.  As a Facility Coordinator, you will report to the Facility Manager and provide support to the Facilities team with day-to-day operations and future planning to responsibly maintain the PCL Business Park and associated properties.  As an integral part of the team, the Facility Coordinator should be a maintenance expert who promotes an efficient and safe environment. 


Here's how a Facility Coordinator for our Resources office contributes to our team:


  • Assists the Facility Manager with preventative maintenance planning and lifecycle forecasting
  • Supports the Facility Manager to maintain operation of systems such as HVAC, generators, electrical, plumbing, security/access and UPS systems
  • Coordinates and oversees contracted services such as, custodial, security, interior plants, snow removal, landscaping, trades, etc.
  • Creates and maintains records to track maintenance and repairs
  • Attends daily safety meetings and acts as secondary Fire Chief during fire drills and emergency evacuations
  • Ensures monthly checklist of life safety inspections are documented and filed
  • Conducts regular inspections to identify general corrective maintenance necessary for proper maintenance and operation of building systems and environment
  • Conducts inspections of facilities for compliance, client satisfaction and asset integrity. 
  • Provides support and quality control for parking, signage, shared meeting rooms, campus emergency response, cleanliness, furniture inventory and event logistics
  • Interfaces with the Facility Manager, Maintenance Team, Property Manager, Finance group to ensure delivery of service requests have met the required service levels
  • Reports deficiencies and recommends areas for improvement to management
  • Monitors and manages design, acquisition, and installation of furniture for offices, training rooms and common areas


  • Trade certificate with 3+ years related experience or technical diploma in a related field
  • Experience in facility coordination, project management or property management
  • Advanced knowledge of maintenance planning, legislation and building codes
  • Extensive experience with building preventative maintenance programs
  • Proficiency in office software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Customer service oriented; able to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Supervisory experience an asset
  • BOMI Certification of RPA or FMA an asset
