Our team gives vital support to our district offices across North America and Australia regarding the use of a large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution. Responsibilities
- Administers and supports security within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), ensuring appropriate access is provisioned, maintained, and monitored for employees, contractors, and external business partners.
- Designs, implements, and maintains ERP security roles, permissions, and access controls aligned with organizational and compliance requirements.
- Provides technical leadership and subject matter expertise for ERP security initiatives, enhancements, and projects.
- Develops, maintains, and improves security policies, standards, procedures, and supporting documentation.
- Serves as the primary security liaison for ERP-related projects, ensuring security requirements are incorporated into solution design and implementation.
- Investigates, analyzes, and resolves complex security incidents, vulnerabilities, and access-related issues while minimizing business disruption.
- Collaborates with development, integration, and support teams to ensure applications, interfaces, and services comply with PCL security standards.
- Supports change management processes and promotes adherence to governance and security best practices.
- Research emerging technologies, industry trends, and security practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Identifies opportunities for operational efficiencies, automation, and cost optimization within ERP security processes.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 3 years of progressive experience in a related field preferred.
- Strong experience supporting ERP security, user provisioning, role design, and access governance.
- Experience with ERP security auditing, compliance controls, segregation of duties (SoD), and risk management practices.
- Knowledge of identity and access management principles and security frameworks.
- Experience with security solutions such as Pathlock, or similar governance and compliance tools is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Experience participating in technology projects, system upgrades, and enterprise implementations.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to collaboration, customer service, and continuous improvement.
