We are seeking Software Developer Student for our Canadian Industrial Division to work in our Edmonton, AB office. We are looking for students that are available for 8 months starting in September 2024. The positions will be under the direct supervisor of a Software Developer Lead.
Here's how a(n) Software Developer Student for our Edmonton Industrial Management office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications and timelines
- Integrating software components and third-party applications
- Testing and deploying programs
- Providing system support to internal clients on a timely basis
- Gathering and analyzing requirements directly from internal clients
- Creating system documentation as required
- Recommending and executing system improvements
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree/diploma program
- Completed Database Management course(s)
- Completed Software Engineering
- Some experience with HTML/JavaScript/WCF/APIs/SOA
- Knowledge of design patterns
- Knowledge of Microsoft Development stack would be an asset
- Knowledge of AI/ML
