We are seeking a Systems Administrator Student  for our North American Headquarters district in Edmonton, Alberta, that is available for 8 months starting in January 2025.

 

As a Systems Administrator Student  and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

  • Provides desktop application troubleshooting and support.
  • Assists with configuration and deployment of network equipment (switches, routers, VPN).
  • Creates requisitions for IT equipment and replace office hardware.
  • Sets up new hire system accesses and equipment.
  • Logs and responds to technology related issues and requests. 
  • Troubleshoots technical issues with users.
  • Creates process documentation.
  • Other responsibilities as required.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team.
  • Support experience.
  • Ability to contribute to a positive, respectful and productive work atmosphere.
  • Network / server admin background would be an asset.
  • Some lifting and installing of computer equipment required.
