We’re looking for a dynamic Multimedia Marketing Intern to join our Los Angeles office within the California Building Division. This opportunity is perfect for a graduating senior or emerging creative who loves design, video, storytelling, and marketing—and is eager to dive in, get hands-on experience, and contribute to meaningful, impactful work
 
This position reports to the Marketing Project Manager and functions as a junior designer, producer, and marketing coordinator, supporting the development of visual and multimedia content that strengthens PCL’s brand and supports major construction pursuits and projects.
 
 
Term: 8 month internship beginning May 2026

Here's how a(n) Multimedia Marketing Intern contributes to our team:

What you'll do:

As a Multimedia Marketing Intern, you will contribute directly to creative production and marketing initiatives across the district including: 

 

  • Design & Visual Communications

    • Create and update visual materials, including presentations, proposal graphics, social media graphics, and marketing collateral.
    • Assist with page layout, typography, and formatting using Adobe Creative Cloud.
    • Apply PCL brand standards to ensure cohesive, high-quality visual communications.
    • Support the development and organization of visual assets, templates, and brand libraries.

    Video Production & Content Creation

    • Assist with video production, including filming, editing, and post-production.
    • Support project shoots, interviews, and marketing videos, including setup, lighting, and equipment management.
    • Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
    • Maintain and organize video files, footage libraries, and creative assets.

    Marketing & Project Coordination

    • Support marketing and pursuit efforts, including proposals, presentations, and internal communications.
    • Coordinate creative deliverables and maintain organized file structures.
    • Conduct research, gather content, and collaborate with subject matter experts.
    • Maintain marketing content libraries, including resumes, project profiles, and photography.

    Creative Collaboration

    • Collaborate with designers, video producers, marketing professionals, and technical staff.
    • Participate in creative brainstorming and content development.
    • Support marketing campaigns, social media initiatives, and internal communications.
    • Contribute ideas that strengthen PCL’s visual storytelling and brand presence

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Film/Video Production, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong foundational skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, with proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop preferred.
  • Basic video editing skills using Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
