Join us as a Proposals Student for our Atlantic Canada district, within our Canadian Buildings sector for 4 months starting January 2027. Depending on your assigned project as a Proposals Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
Responsibilities
- Works with a small team of Proposal Specialists on submission documents that may include: Expressions of Interest (EOI); Requests for Qualifications (RFQ); Requests for Proposal (RFP).
- Assists with RFP review process including reviewing RFP requirements, development of proposal outline and timeline/assignments
- Participates in the kick-off ‘Strategic Visioning’ and Proposal Planning session, ensuring that all key proposal stakeholders are represented.
- Assists with researching key submission data necessary to create a submission document.
- Assists with translating a proposal ‘Vision’ into a compelling proposal layout and graphic design working primarily in InDesign, and creating compelling graphics and visual communication strategies, including strategic image selection and/or acquisition.
- Assists in the assembly and review of responses for compliance, accuracy and content, and coordinate/ participate in review sessions with teammates/ stakeholders to ensure the integrity of all documents and solutions.
- Assists with filing and organizing of resources within Marketing & Communications environment.
- Works with our communications specialist to develop/prepare messaging and content for community involvement initiatives and campaigns.
- Assists with writing and editing material for conferences and events.
- Captures and organizes photography for ads, social media, and other marketing materials.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Working towards a degree or diploma in a communications-related field (communications, public relations, marketing, etc.).
- Strong written communication and collaboration skills.
- Competency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Knowledge of social media platforms and the ability to tailor content to each platform as required.
