Here's how a Systems Administrator (Construction Technology Analyst) for our Atlantic Canada office contributes to our team:


  • Resolves user-reported problems using available tools and following procedures and policies for handling support cases. 
  • District jobsite setup and turndown, including remote support. 
  • Creates and delivers technical training and other knowledge resources. 
  • Administers and monitors district office and construction site server resources   and technology solutions to ensure optimal operation, and responds to issues. 
  • Accurate and timely logging of problems, and resolutions to problems, in problem-management database. 
  • Assists other team members with technical issues. 
  • Actively seeks out issues, problems, and opportunities, and creates solutions. 
  • Solicits feedback from operational project teams to identify innovations, challenges, and issues. 
  • Provides implementation support on corporate and regional initiatives. 
  • Project-related travel is required for the role. 


  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in computer technology or a related discipline. 
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a related field. 
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely. 
  • Intermediate problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize own work and delegate simple tasks. 
  • Experience with Windows Desktop Operating Systems. 
  • Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems.
  • Experience with Networking such as VPN, WiFi, Switching, Routing and Firewalls. 
  • Dedicated to customer service excellence with a results-oriented focus.
  • Must be able to obtain a Government security clearance.
