We are seeking a creative and adaptable Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of our marketing and communications efforts. This role requires a detail-oriented and imaginative individual who can help bring the PCL brand to life across a variety of internal and external platforms. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with strong design skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with Business Development, HR, and Operations teams, the Coordinator will contribute to developing impactful visual content and marketing materials that align with our brand and business goals.
As a Marketing Coordinator for our US PICCo office, you will contribute to our team by:
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of marketing materials and design assets including flyers, brochures, presentations, jobsite signage, event collateral, social media graphics, and internal communications.
- Collaborate with internal team; including Business Development, HR, and Operations to understand project needs and produce consistent, high-quality content that aligns with the PCL brand.
- Assist with the coordination and creative development of district events and campaigns, including photography, signage, digital invites, and on-site materials.
- Create engaging visual and written content for social media, newsletters, and advertising campaigns that supports company initiatives and enhances brand visibility.
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals and qualifications packages by developing supporting graphics, team bios, and visual layouts tailored to client specifications.
- Ensure all marketing deliverables follow brand guidelines and maintain consistency across print and digital platforms.
- Coordinate updates to district marketing libraries, including images, templates, and marketing collateral.
- Help facilitate photography and videography needs for marketing purposes, including vendor coordination and on-site support.
- Participate in DEI and Sustainability storytelling and marketing initiatives through creative design and thoughtful communication.
- Stay informed on industry trends, social media practices, and emerging design tools to support innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in marketing, graphic design, communications, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in marketing, graphic design, or communications; a strong portfolio demonstrating design capabilities and brand consistency is preferred.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
- Working skills and knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams).
- Understanding of branding principles and ability to apply them across various platforms and media types.
- Comfortable developing content for both print and digital formats, including social media, internal comms, and promotional materials.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Thrives in both independent and team-oriented settings with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- Experience in industrial or construction-related marketing is an asset but not required.
- Co-op or internship experience in a marketing or creative role is a plus.
