Here's how a(n) Integrated Construction Technology Manager for our Solar USA office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Oversee, manage, and implement survey scope of work on project sites.
- Oversee procurement, training, and R&D of pile driving operating and machine computer technology.
- Manage, train, and onboard field operations staff responsible for installation and quality verification.
- Install RTK and GNSS networks, including control verification and project-specific localization of GPS technology.
- Manage UAS Lead and Solar Pilot roster, ensuring all pilots are trained, certified, and proficient.
- Procure, train, and research UAS tools and equipment.
- Manage 2D and 3D assets handed over by the design team and support data for field installation.
- Model information when necessary to visualize, communicate, or install the design intent.
- Communicate constructability requirements and relevant digital asset information with design and field teams.
- Other related duties as required
Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree, diploma, or 2-year certificate in a buildings-industry related discipline (e.g., architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC), civil, architectural).
- 11 to 15 years of construction-related industry experience including 5 to 6 years of virtual Design and Construction related experience.
- At least 2 years of survey and layout experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Dynamo, PowerBI, Trimble Business Center, GNSS Field Layout, UAS/UAV technology, and machine control systems
- Expert understanding of construction sequences.
- Advanced understanding of and proven experience implementing construction technology.
- Ability to develop model management procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of the building construction process and the various building components involved at each stage of construction.
- Advanced ability to oversee and ensure the quality of virtual construction models from design and trade partners.
- Understanding of trade detailing and design workflows.
- Advanced ability to read and understand 2D and 3D construction drawings and specifications and translate 2D drawings and specifications into a complete 3D/4DBuilding Information Model.
- Advanced understanding and training in 3D modeling software.
- Experience with 4D scheduling software and planning tools.
