Here's how a Strategic Pursuits Manager for our Civil Infrastructure office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

  • Leads submittal quality efforts; technical writing, review proposals and presentations; and participate in reviews as needed.
  • Ability to elevate the standard practices of the PCL’s proposals.
  • Meetings facilitation for CSP and pursuit teams – drive the process and strategy.
  • In-depth understanding of PCL’s marketing philosophies, strategic planning efforts, and ability to facilitate training efforts.
  • Helps AMs and BDM’s identify risks and conflicts of interest with contracts early to mitigate potential issues.
  • Documents and promotes Best Practices for proposals, opportunities, and related pursuit efforts.
  • Leads pursuits and campaigns per district request.
  • Partners with local areas and local pursuit leaders
  • Monitors and encourage the success of CSP initiatives.
  • Supports client management efforts as requested.
  • Participates in or hosts debrief, and lessons learned meetings.
  • Partners with the marketing communications team to prepare company-wide qualifications and marketing collateral materials in compliance with branding standards and in alignment with our strategic plan.
  • Works with and support business groups in the management, facilitation, and improvement of their strategic pursuits program.
  • Manages pursuit processes and follow quality procedures for document production.
  • Collaborates with leaders to ensure effective leadership and identification of pursuits.
  • Leads project pursuits, including planning and facilitating pursuit team development, scheduling, pursuit meetings, strategies, actions, themes, submittals, presentations, and follow-ups.
  • Leads development of marketing submittals and presentations, and coach presentation teams
  • Maintains awareness and network with potential competitors and teaming partners to stay abreast of industry activity and direction.
  • Stays current with company service offerings and business area contacts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • Deep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to procurement of professional services, 7-10 years of experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others.

  • Ability and desire to travel and engage with others in-person.

  • Demonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staff.

The salary range for this position is between $120,500 and $145,500 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
