Here's how a Equipment Fleet Lead for PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. within Solar USA contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct equipment and tool support to customers.
  • Completes ongoing equipment administration function in support of equipment and tool transfers, coordination of interdistrict equipment transfers, accounting activities, and repair/service.
  • Supports best solutions to maximize equipment utilization.
  • Completes invoices received, ensuring proper cost allocation and payment.
  • Tracks and completes equipment titles/Manufacturer Certificate of Origin (MCO) renewal process.
  • Monitors financial performance and utilization of equipment fleet through monthly report review.
  • Assists in the coordination of local and cross-border (Canada/US) equipment logistics.
  • Performs administrative functions relating to gathering and analyzing quotes, researching specifications, and performing calculations in support of acquisitions.
  • Issues purchase order numbers.
  • Reviews new fleet acquisition and disposal authorization through formal processes of Authorization for Expenditures/Authorization for Disposals (AFEs/ AFDs).
  • Markets and endorses Equipment Operations products and services.
  • Participates in the annual rate review by analyzing trends, life cycles, market rates, and historical data related to the annual rate review.
  • Ensures that equipment complies with government regulations and HSE requirements.
  • Develops and maintains strong, customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in a related discipline (e.g., business, supply chain, engineering) preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate negotiation skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge and application of tools and equipment.
  • Ability to understand and employ company’s specifications, methods, and procedures.
  • Ability to understand and apply basic financial concepts.
  • Aptitude and desire for corporate responsibility, integrity and business practices, and ethical decision making.
  • Basic knowledge of construction and contract.
  • General understanding and application of applicable laws and government regulations as they apply to equipment supply and management.
  • Proficiency with E1 equipment management software.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
