We are seeking a Procurement Intern that is available for Summer 2024.
Here's how a Procurement Intern for our California Buildings office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities

Sourcing materials, services and equipment as directed and in accordance with policy and procedures.

Identifying and selecting vendors to purchase requisitioned commodities, meeting criteria such as price, quantity, quality, safety, and delivery date.

Expediting orders.

Shipping and receiving.
-
Maintaining inventory levels and records.

Preparing procurement reports and documentation as required.

Providing equipment administration support.

Practicing PCL safety practices.

Assisting in all aspects, as is reasonably available, of procurement & equipment management activities.
Qualifications
-
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution - Supply Management Chain major preferred.

Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment.

Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Maintains a positive working relationship with clients.

Ability to perform multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The hourly range for this position is between $20.00 and $25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
