Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage direct reports, building strong and effective leaders and managers of others.
  • Develop and implement integrated strategies, standards, and best practices across all ICS functions to support project delivery and operational excellence.
  • Oversee the execution of district-wide programs for quality management, construction technology, scheduling, project controls, data analytics, surveying, and building systems.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to optimize workflows, resource allocation, and technology adoption.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements across all ICS teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data analytics and feedback from team managers to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Support succession planning, staff development, and recruitment for all ICS departments.
  • Represent ICS in strategic planning, executive meetings, and industry associations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and decision makers.
  • Monitor and report on ICS performance metrics, trends, and outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Other duties as required to support district and organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors' degree, diploma, or 2-year certificate in a buildings-industry related discipline (e.g., architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC), civil, architectural).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in construction or related fields, including significant leadership and management experience across multiple ICS functions such as quality, ICT/BIM, scheduling, project controls or relevant operations roles.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Expert knowledge of construction industry practices, technologies, codes, and regulations.
  • Advanced understanding of integrated project delivery, process improvement, and change management.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with technology adoption, data analytics, and process standardization.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Demonstrated conflict-resolution skills, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, and professional judgement.

The estimated salary range for this role is $107,000.00 - $133,700, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
