Join us as a Engineering/Technical Student for our Montreal district, within our Canadian Buildings sector for 4 or 8 months starting January 2027. Depending on your assigned project as a Engineering/Technical Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
Responsibilities
- Be a part of a passionate team of professionals and work closely with our subtrades to coordinate work, maintain quality, markup and update drawings and monitor progress on site through photos and site walks.
- Be trusted with performing important tasks such as quantity- takeoffs, setting up and maintaining records and conducting trade quote reviews. Everyone at PCL takes ownership and that includes students.
- Get the chance to be a part of something bigger and contribute at project meetings. Basically, you will be a crucial part of the team from your first day on the job.
Qualifications
- A passion for working in a construction environment. Any prior experience in construction is considered and an asset.
- Bilingualism in English and French.
- Working towards a degree or diploma in a Civil Engineering related field.
- Completion of the ASP Construction Safety course is considered an asset.
PCL Student wages are determined individually for each student based on the number of completed school terms, relevant work terms, kind of role and work location.
