Here's how a Accounting Clerk for PCL Solar Constructors Canada Inc. within Solar Canada contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Supports the accounting team by collecting, reconciling, and seeking approval and processes through PCL business systems general vendor payments as requested, in a timely and accurate manner to meet payment terms and conditions.
- Assembles client billings package in accordance with approval procedures and processes through PCL business systems to ensure client is in receipt of billings on a timely basis and payments are received as per contract terms and conditions.
- Prepares bank deposits and subsequent cash receipt entries where required.
- Effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders, as required.
- Develops and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Some co-op experience or 6 months to 1 year of accounting and/or administration experience an asset.
- High school diploma.
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in a related discipline an asset.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Basic understanding of lien rights.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and high level of detail orientation required to maintain and submit all necessary documentation and meet deadlines and requirements.
- Basic skills using Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge and/or experience with accounting software an asset.
The estimated salary range for this role is $48,600 - $64,500 based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
