Here's how an Insurance Claims Analyst for PCL Constructors Inc. within Edmonton NAHQ contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Insurance Claims Manager with administering, negotiating and tracking insurable losses across Canada, United States, and Australia
- Supporting PCL districts with identifying, reporting, and handling insurable losses with low to moderate complexity.
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of data in the Risk Management Information System (Origami).
- Generating loss runs and verifying data as needed.
- Aggregate, analyze, visualize, and interpret internal claims data for internal and external reporting.
- Support internal education and awareness initiatives related to claims, insurance, and risk management practices.
Qualifications
- Experience or education in insurance or data analysis is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of insurance concepts and processes, ideally in the construction context.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting quantitative data using Microsoft Excel.
- Basic familiarity with construction documents, processes, means, and methods.
- Basic understanding of legal processes and documents.
The estimated salary range for this role is $65,000 - $77,000, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
