Here's how a Subcontractor Default Insurance Coordinator for PCL Constructors Canada Inc. within Toronto contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update subcontractor prequalification database
  • Review, evaluate and prepare reports on financial assessments, and analyze qualification submissions from subcontractors
  • Meet with subcontractors as needed to review and obtain prequalification information, including financial statements
  • Evaluate subcontractor capacity and assist in developing project-specific risk mitigation plans
  • Meet with internal teams to understand prequalification requirements
  • Assist in subcontractor outreach
  • Liaise with credit associations and references
  • Prepare reports on prequalification status, subcontractor utilization, and other reporting as required
  • Complete subcontractor default insurance reports/claims
  • Assist with presentations on the prequalification process
  • Monitor subcontract values, subcontract security and risk mitigation plans
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in credit management strongly preferred
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is considered an asset
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to review, interpret, and analyze financial statements to assess financial performance and trends.
  • Strong customer service skills; comfortable and capable of telephone outreach and communication with subcontractors
  • Team player with effective interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and professional judgment
  • Ability to maintain the integrity of confidential information
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Knowledge of the construction industry is considered an asset
  • Knowledge/experience with Oracle, Enterprise One software, Power B.I and Compass software is considered an asset

The estimated salary range for this role is $61,000 - $79,000, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
