As an On-Site Solar HSE Student for PCL Solar, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact by supporting safety programs, conducting site observations, and helping create a safer jobsite every day.
Interns must be available to work full time from May to August 2027.
Our project locations for 2027 are in Ohio, Indiana, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, and Oregon. You must have reliable transportation to get to and from the job site.

Here's how a On-Site Solar HSE Student for PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. within Solar USA contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Learn the importance of Health, Safety and Environmental
- Learn OSHA regulations
- Read and understand procedures in regard to safety
- Perform audits, safety meetings, and overall safety in construction
Qualifications
- Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a HSE function
- Have completed or be enrolled in any HSE related courses
- Ability to work effectively with others and meet deadlines and goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented and self-starter.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and can convey information to both technical and general audiences.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
The salary range for this position is between $18 and $24 an hour. PCL Intern wages are determined individually for each student based on the number of completed school terms, relevant work terms, kind of role and work location.
