As a  Human Resources Student in Phoenix, Arizona, you will contribute to our team by:

 

Responsibilities

  • Assists with research and general administrative support.
  • Assists with coordination and administration of onboarding, event planning, and training preparation.
  • Assists with updating and maintaining accurate databases.
  • Develops and maintains strong customer-focused relationships.
  • Values and models the solution provider and profitability culture.
  • Provides administrative support for employee questions, processes, and systems.
  • Maintains and prepares scheduled and ad hoc reporting as needed.
  • Provides support to employees and HRPD team via HRIS system and company communications.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in human resources, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic skills using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic networking skills with the ability to develop and maintain HR networks.
  • Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies an asset.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • 18 years of age or older and possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Available to work in Orlando, FL, full-time from May to August.
  • Employment with PCL is contingent upon passing a substance abuse test conducted by a third party.
