This is a rotational position, with a two week on/two week off schedule, traveling to the North Slope of Alaska. Travel costs, including flights, hotels, and reasonable meal expenses will be covered. While on rotation, housing accommodations and all meals will be provided by the client.
Per-diem and project allowance are available to help cover temporary living expenses for candidates who meet the eligibility criteria. Depending on project availability, once your time on this project ends, you may be transferred to the next project or back to our home office in Houston, Texas to await your next assignment.

Responsibilities
- Consistently collaborates and provides advice to the construction/project manager and project team. Proactively identifies, handles, and resolves potential problems, work issues, or schedule challenges. Develops and implements recovery plan. Works with project team to anticipate and resolve project issues.
- Consistently ensures expectations are effectively communicated to own forces and trades pertaining to work performance, productivity, quality, and safety requirements. Always ensures trade contractor coordination and progress are closely supervised.
- Ensures information is presented appropriately at client engineering meetings. Mentors others on their presenting style to ensure messages is being received accurately.
- Responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary project controls team (scheduling and planning, estimating, cost-control, subcontract, and document control).
- Consistently communicates with the project teams to define scope of work, need for change to budgets and schedules, and identification of variances from the original plan.
- Leads the development and maintenance of resource loaded schedule, critical path analysis, resolution of scheduling issues, supervising schedule delays, impacts and variances to the baseline.
- Applies analysis and makes recommendations regarding the trending and communicating schedule, progress, and cost information to project personnel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
- At least 7 years of experience in project controls or project management, with a focus on engineering or industrial construction projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
