We are currently seeking a Marketing Student within our Canadian Buildings Division to work on some of the most exciting projects currently underway in the BC Region at our Richmond office.  This position will be under the direct supervision of the Marketing Manager. We are looking for students available for 4 months from May to August 2022, or for 8 months from May to December 2022.

 

As a Marketing Student, you will:

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the team by assisting with the production and distribution of various visual materials for internal and external audiences, including photography, graphic design, page layout, and video.

  • You will be counted on to take charge with reviewing and editing various internal documents and marketing related material.

  • Be responsible for writing marketing materials, project profiles, resumes, award submissions, notes to staff, proposals, etc. Everyone at PCL takes ownership and that includes students.

  • Be a strong contributor and act as key support to the Marketing team, as required.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

  • Pursuing a degree or diploma in Marketing or related disciplines. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills to make strong connections with internal stakeholders.

  • Basic understanding of graphic design, social media and how to integrate it into the business process. 

  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

  • Desire for corporate social responsibility, integrity in business practices, and ethical decision making.

  • Ability to perform multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
