As a Marketing Specialist for our Civil Infrastructure Division in the Tempe, Arizona office, you will contribute to our Marketing Team by:
Responsibilities
- Creating and enhancing brand awareness through development of marketing materials, such as brochures and PowerPoint presentations, to showcase projects, people, or service solutions
- Managing registration and booth logistics for company attendance at industry conferences and trade shows
- Managing headshots for employees across a variety of geographic locations
- Organizing and overseeing professional photography for key projects for use in marketing collateral, proposals, and digital platforms
- Working with internal teams and external vendors to order and ensure timely delivery of marketing materials and promotional items
- Creating and updating staff resumes and employee bios to support business development and proposal teams
- Creating effective written copy for appropriate mediums
- Building communications tailored for social media based on strong understanding of the platforms and their requirements
- Collaborating with internal teams to update content in the company marketing database, including writing new project descriptions
- Manage and regularly update content on the firms intranet
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or equivalent.
- 4+ years of progressive experience in a marketing role.
- Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals and best practices, digital communications, social media strategies, and marketing campaign and execution
- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity
- Proactive, results oriented with an ability to handle tight deadlines
- Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and social media strategies
- Strong writing skills and ability to communciate clearly and effectively
- Strong proofreading skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of data analytics
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience developing marketing content in the context of construction, engineering, or architecture is an asset
- Experience in Adobe InDesign a plus
