We are seeking Engineering Students for our Winnipeg District, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for 4 or 6 months starting in May 2026, with a possibility of extension depending on performance and project student needs.
Here's how an Engineering Student for our Winnipeg office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Coordinating work specific scopes & trades
- Participating in project meetings
- Inputting and updating deficiency logs
- Taking progress photographs using 360 cameras
- Updating field drawings
- Producing as-built drawings
- Performing quantity takeoffs
- Verifying site conditions by coordinating with drawings
- Supervising sub-trade work
- Setting-up / Maintaining record keeping
- Layout site lines and grades using total station
- Creating and maintaining graphical schedules
- Obtaining scheduling information from sub-trades
- Monitoring workforce productivity
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role:
- Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
- Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
