We are seeking for an IT – Systems Administrator Student for our Winnipeg District that is available for 4 months starting in September 2024. 

 

As an IT – Systems Administrator Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by

Responsibilities

  • Logging IT related support calls
  • Assisting in the maintenance of the IT work areas
  • Providing basic network, hardware and software troubleshooting 
  • Handling equipment audits & shipments
  • Creating documentation
  • Setting up new users, printers and workstations both in district office and various site locations–personal vehicle is required
  • Attending weekly team meetings
  • Assisting in a variety of other customer service & systems related tasks as required

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role: 

  • Proficient knowledge of computers (Microsoft office basic hardware support)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an appreciation for detail and accuracy
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Ability to evaluate and integrate technology as it relates to the needs of the business
  • Ability to read basic network drawings
  • Basic hardware and networking skills
