Join us as a Workforce Student for our Winnipeg district, within our Canadian Buildings sector for 4 months starting in January 2027. Depending on your assigned project as a Workforce Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

 

Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee development initiatives.
  • Assist with candidate coordination, interview scheduling, and recruitment administration.
  • Track and report on workforce, training, and employee development data.
  • Prepare communications, presentations, and project materials.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Support employee engagement activities and special workforce projects.
  • Conduct research and provide administrative support to the Workforce team.
  • Assists with various department administration tasks when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Human Resources, Business Administration, or related post-secondary program.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of various computer programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality required of work assignments.
  • Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to multitask in a fast pace environment.
