As an Engineering Student for PCL Construction Management Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta (Buildings), you’ll have the opportunity to lead innovative infrastructure projects that shape the future of your community. We are seeking Engineering students from Civil and Mechanical backgrounds that are available for 4-12 months starting in January 2027.

Here's how an Engineering Student for PCL Construction Management Inc. within Edmonton Buildings contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Coordinating drawings and work specific scope/trades/sub-trades
- Conduction of trade quote reviews by verifying material quantities, hours and rates
- Participation in project meetings
- Completion of deficiency walks and updating of deficiency logs.
- Issues warranties
- Takes/coordinates progress photos
- Updates field drawings and produces as-built drawings
- Performance of quantity takeoffs
- Verification of site conditions and coordination of drawings
- Set-up and maintenance of records
- Project schedule updates and creation of manual schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM software.
- Creating and maintaining graphical scheduling using AutoCAD
- Monitoring of workforce productivity
Qualifications
- Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
- Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle may be required depending on the project site/location.
