Here's how a(n) Foreman for our Nassal office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Participates in the completion and auditing of PSIs.
- Participates in the creation of JHAs for the project by identifying processes and hazards associated with the work.
- Leads and directs crews through coordination with Site or Area Superintendent.
- Directs jobsite movement of trucks, equipment and materials.
- Coordinates with superintendent on workforce planning.
- Tracks time sheets and orders materials and equipment.
- Conducts quality inspections.
- Manages materials and equipment inventory.
- Identifies issues on-site or in defined work scopes.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of construction specifications, and methods and procedures (e.g., self-perform work, subcontracted work scopes, and temporary work, equipment).
- Demonstrated ability to perform all responsibilities of skilled on-site crews being lead.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Basic knowledge of productivity rates.
- Effective verbal and written communication with supervisors and subcontractors, and reports.
- Basic knowledge of material, labor, and equipment takeoffs.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to safely operate company-owned vehicles on-site and on roadways.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, lead, and direct crews.
